John is an experienced international widely recognised as one of the finest players in the NW. He plays and teaches Bridge professionally. John's successes in national competitions are too numerous to list. The most notable include representing England in the home international Camrose competition, an unprecedented six wins in the national mixed teams event and, most recently, victory in England's most prestigious competition- Crockford's Cup.

John teaches the more experienced pupils. In his quiet thoughtful way he explains his ideas clearly and lucidly with warm humour and charm.
